Our Story

Bombay Curry Company is a 40 seat neighborhood Indian restaurant in the Del Ray section of Alexandria, Virginia. Currying flavor since 1995, with good food and fair pricing, Bombay Curry Company is well reviewed both by patrons and area food critics. It has made the Washingtonian Magazine's 100 best and 100 'Best Bargain' lists, also been listed in the Washington Post's annual 50 favorites. The atmosphere is casual with muted earth tones, Indian artifacts, fabrics etc. setting a modern Indian ambiance.

Besides mainstream offerings, the menu presents interesting selections not found at area restaurants. Noteworthy are the Tandoori Chicken Wings, Shammi Kabab, Bhel Puri, Chicken Kadai, Chooza Kabab,  Pathar Kabab,  our version of Fish Curry in a Southern flavored light cream sauce etc. You will also find our Butter Chicken, Vindaloo, Dal Makhani and Tandoori among the best in the area.
